This is a 34cm round pot trolley made from cast aluminium, powder coated and supplied with clear polyurethane wheels (no scratching/marking). Each trolley has 2 x normal wheels and 2 x wheels with a brake on it.

The trolley base itself has raised edges to keep the pot from slipping off. It’s very rugged and can hold 100kg+ of weight and still remain mobile. The aluminium material used has been chosen for its weather resistance so there will be no issue even after years of use. If you need a bit of extra height to get over the lugs you can also grab our 34cm rubber spacer too.

We’ are also offering a “mill” version which is an unpainted base with wheels in case you are either looking to paint it yourself or desire a more silver colour.

The wheels are a 2″ blade type wheel, this is important as I have found the standard “office chair” castor wheel if left outdoors will over time seize and crumble if the weight of the pot is more than 30kg. This wheel, I specifically searched for can handle a large amount of weight, be weather resistant and still work in a years time where the other office wheels have already stopped working. They do cost a bit more but in the long run they are much better if you do plan on moving the pots in and out of the sun & water.

The other advantage of having a clear polyurethane wheel is that it allows you to use the pot trolley indoors without having to worry about scratching your tiles or polished concrete flooring.

Please note the trolley is packaged unassembled to make shipping easier, when receiving the parts you simply need to lightly tap the wheel into the holes on the underneath of the casting. We have a video of this if you look on the tab below.

Wheel Inserting Steps

It’s best to place the trolley on a surface that can absorb the shock of being hit. The cardboard box the trolley came in or a piece of wood is good.
Place the stem of the wheel into the cavity on the underside of the trolley.
Holding it straight use a plastic or wooden hammer (not steel) and tap down on the metal pad which houses the wheel. Don’t hit the poly wheel itself.
As you tap down the circlip around the stem will compress and it will enter the cavity and then spring out causing it to stay in position.
Continue to tap until you feel the spigot is no longer being pushed down and that’s it! 👍
