This is a 50 x 50mm post base with 2 mounting points. Used to hold up verandah or pergola roofs as well as a base for larger fence posts. It’s made from gravity cast aluminium and supplied in either a mill condition (uncoated) or fully coated satin black. Usually the 2 hole post base is used when the 4 hole post base will not fit whether it’s needs to an edge or just when the style is better suited.

Item Packing
For non full carton sales shipping throughout Australia can take from 2 days up to 8 days depending on how remote the delivery address is. For powder coated parts we package each bracket individually in its own plastic bag to avoid abrasion and rubbing of the paint against each other. We also place all brackets inside a bubble wrap liner to help avoid any transport damage. For parts supplied in mill finish we only pack in the outside bubble wrap.
Albury Casting uses 2 shipping services, AusPost & TNT. We use these mainly because of the ease of access. TNT has a good presence here in Albury so we use them for more heavier industrial items and Auspost for the smaller parcels that are sent mainly to homes.
Australia Post – For goods shipped via AusPost the delivery leadtimes vary from 2 days to 8 days.
Sydney, Melbourne and areas surrounding Albury (Wangaratta, Corowa, Holbrook, Wagga) 2 → 4 days.
Brisbane, Adelaide 4→5 days
Perth & Darwin up to 8 days and for other far flung area such as Port Hedland it can take 10 working days.
TNT – TNT are quicker for metro areas than AusPost but there are some rural locations that TNT do not cover.
