New DTH Inserts for Make & Break Clamps

Quite a larger update this time. I am now able to advertise the jaw inserts we have started manufacturing our first lot are coming in of which 50% are already spoken for and I am looking to start the next round of inserts and hopefully add to the range. We manufacture all of these inserts in house. Hardening is done via a local but Japanese owned specialised heat treatment company and plating is also done post hardening locally (Malaysia). I have not gone out of my was to sell these but the little I have has been met with a good amount of interest so I am pretty positive on this. You can see the products HERE. I am getting better photos for them now and will update it when they get in.

I have also been approached by another company that manufactures core trays. This is a bit tougher market as it’s pretty swamped by Australian and Chinese made units. We’re holding a small amount of stock of these so hopefully get may be some traction later on. See them HERE

Finally, one of the big issues we have here is getting anything done in lower volume, it seems to be a problem everywhere currently. While we are making some new products the packaging has been letting us down as we cannot find purpose made cartons and fillers to suit the parts as the companies that make similar items are not helping with the few that we need. To overcome this we’ve bought our own CNC oscillating cutter. It can cut cardboard, foam, rubber etc. up tot 40mm so we’ll be using this to make dividers for our packing to ensure parts do not clang together during transport. This is especially for the items we get plated.
