New product time. Well, it's not actually new as this is a trial run of the replacement 6" strainer. Its design allows it at some point be simply converted over to a permanent mould gravity casting, then we can make them in house as the demand has become considerably larger over the years.
The design removes the need for the tight rubber ring which has always been a hassle, is lighter and allows more volume than the previous sand casting design. We'll run this as a replacement over the next year and if adopted we'll move over to the mould (which is already designed).
