I’ve been mulling over this for some time but it was decided the other day when I had someone call up and repeat the website address as brackets.com.au, which it’s not. I do believe most of the people who come here are via Google but most people tend to defer to the .com.au rather than the .net.au which I had. Getting the brackets.com.au was out of the question as there is someone sitting on it, waiting for someone like me to come along and pay silly money for it. Philosophically I just wont do that and it’s amazing that with all the regulations that are out that something as simple as domain squatting cannot be solved.
Regardless, moving on we have now moved to our new domain, https://www.fencebrackets.com.au and I have also rolled out the new design which will be better for the mid term as it allows a more fluid navigation though the products. The new design was brought on due to having an increasing product line and I currently have another products confirmed to be added I just have not got my hands on them yet.
Forward apologies for anyone who’s account was not transferred over, I did the change a couple of weeks ago for testing and I am a bit reluctant to update it in case something goes wrong.
This new website also adds some more of the “official” links such as privacy and return policies. This is required for Facebook and Google and it’s something that protects myself and the consumer by writing down “most” scenarios so there is a clear course of action.
